Valentine Sweet Nothing Box
Here's an easy "Sweet Nothing Box" the whole family
can make together which can be filled with treats for
that special someone!
Craft Materials:
- Old valentine cards
- Wrapping paper
- Heart stickers, colored macaroni, doilies, buttons
- Ribbon
- Scissors
- Glue
- Small cardboard box or clay pot
Time needed: Under 1 Hour
1. Begin by carefully cutting hearts from the old valentine cards and wrapping paper.
2. Glue the cut-outs and ribbon, colored macaroni, doilies, buttons, stickers over the outside of a small cardboard box (jewelry boxes for earrings or mug boxes are perfect) or clay pot.
3. Fill the boxes or pots with sweet nothings, such as bath oil beads, candies, small seashells, spring seed packets or any small treats that you know the recipient likes.
Tips:
Kids can easily create several boxes for giving to teachers, grandmothers, and other favorite valentines.
