Marine Animals Assist Those With Special Needs

For more than a decade, Clearwater Marine Aquarium has conducted programs for children with special needs. The Aquarium's Full Circle Programs are designed for children with special needs between 4 and 17 years of age. All of the Full Circle's three programs are held at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium in Clearwater. Program details at www.CMAquarium.org.

Full Circle Programs give children with physical and emotional difficulties an opportunity to interact with dolphins, river otters, sea turtles and stingrays. The children also learn about the marine environment right here in Tampa Bay.

While the Clearwater Marine Aquarium provides a home to injured and sick animals, the animals in turn help children with special needs overcome their own special challenges. To see if your child with special needs can participate in Full Circle Programs, contact the Clearwater Marine Aquarium at 888-239-9414, ext. 241 or email them at fullcircle2@CMAquarium.org.
